Kristy Caudell purchases Seabones Restaurant — Kristy Caudell of Gainesville, participant on this Fall's edition of "The Apprentice" with Donald Trump, announced at the Main Street Gainesville's Annual Dinner that she had purchase Seabones Restaurant.  She is planning for a visit by Donald Trump in the near future to help promote the business and she is planning to franchise the concept.  She on a nationwide tour and using every opportunity to promote the restaurant and Downtown Gainesville

Labor Day may mean a slow weekend for some people, but on the Gainesville square, it will mean pure speed. Normal city streets will become a raceway on Sept. 3 as the Gainesville Grand Prix returns for a second year of cycling excitement. Tearing around a short criterium course, 75 to 100 nationally ranked riders will pedal at speeds most of us only can reach in our cars.
